My Solomon loves and I mean loves his baby duck. It is the only toy he will play with. He got it on his 1st birthday 13 years ago.  You can see how he will sacrifice his comfort for his duckie. LOL

My Kitchen Witch Cafe'

Had breakfast at a great little cafe' in Monmouth Beach, NJ.  It is decorated so cute!  Everything Wizard of Oz.   Here are a few of the breakfast items:

Bedknobs and Broomstick Omelette, Hocus Pocus Omelette, Emerald City Omelette, Glinda the Good Witch, and for lunch Lions & Tigers & Bears Salad, Wicked Good Crab Cake, Sandwich of the West & Sandwich of the East.  

I always get the VT Omelette,  SOOOOOO good!   An Omelette with Vermont Cheddar and Granny Smith Apples.  It comes with their homemade biscuits and strawberry butter.  

The owner also owns Bedrock Catering in NYC . . . she does Regis & Kelly, The Apprentice, Survivors Grand Finale just to name a few.

If you are ever in NJ it is worth a visit . . .

Hubby gave me an adorable teddy bear with a PINK heart and flowers. He also got me a mini rose bush with red roses from my Solomon (doggie)   It was a blessed Valentines Day . . .

Wonderful Weight Watcher Recipe

Made a great WW recipe Turkey Bean & Vegetable Chili.  Really good. Only 5 points too !
Yesterday I made Carrot Bread to take to my churches bake sale and it sold ! 

Starting to see a bit of light at the end of the "cooking" tunnel . . . maybe just maybe I can be an okay cook!

Valentines dinner with Hubby 2011

Hubby and I had a wonderful dinner at Memphis Big Out !  It is such a neat little place. Pigs everywhere !
We were blessed to get a restaurant.com gift card for Christmas from a dear co-worker and friend of mine so we went all out.  I had Ribs & Filet Mignon and Gar had Ribs & Lobster Tail . . . Brought enough home that Gar will have a second meal tomorrow and I donated 1/2 my ribs hah . . .

Here is a lovely little poem I found and have hanging in my home office.

It's a New Day . . .

Well I made a decision and joined . . .   Weight Watchers on-line . . .

I've had great success in the past going to Weight Watchers but usually grew tired of going to the meetings. After work I am beat and the only other class is Saturday morning.  Yeah I'll do that consistently HAH
So I looked into Weight Watchers on line and I love it. I just started on Friday but so far so good.
I love my computer and really like working through this myself.  You can easily count your points and they give you recipes and meal ideas. 

Here's to a new day ! . . .
