Ladies Retreat & NYC Food Show

OCTOBER 🎃 is a big month for us

I had a birthday

Turned 59 WOW

My co-workers surprised me with
all kinds of stuff to make Candy Apples
We had the works !

Grace Bible Fellowship Retreat

Went off to Bird in Hand Lancaster PA

for the annual Ladies Fall retreat.

The grounds are beautiful especially in the FALL

Here we all are:

We had a wonderful time.

Our speaker was: Sue Amerman

She was wonderful.

She taught on how we get through

trials and how God wants us to

use our story as our ministry to others.

This table is the hard times

A grain needs to be crushed to make bread

Grapes need to be crushed to make wine

The Potter needs to break the pot and reform it

Seed needs to be buried in the cold darkness alone

This is the table made from our pain

The Story of the Little Seed

She shared that we should get a stone as a reminder

when God does special things in our lives

Paul ship wrecked on Island

From prisoner to captain of the ship
(just like Joseph from prisoner to man in charge)

What is my "Island" ?

Where have I been ship wrecked that I can now

use as my ministry to others.

( anxiety, panic, singleness, alcoholism)

Jesus wants to carry our burdens

Am I willing to put my stuff on
His head ?

It was a powerful weekend.

Hubby and I went to the

NYC Food and Wine Festival 🍷

We got to see Aaron Sanchez
He made delicious looking
tacos with grilled cauliflower
instead of a meat

Hubby purchased his cookbook

and had it autographed

I chose Martina McBride

She was great. Very sweet.
She was nervous her first
cooking demo.
She made grill cheese on
brioche bread with raspberry
jelly. Oh gosh it looked so good.

We went to see Phil Keaggy

in Concert

He was amazing on that guitar 🎸

Every year we like to celebrate Octoberfest at
a little local place called the Sitting Duck.
It is my husbands favorite New Jersey
restaurant.
