Before you know it November is off and running !

He looked exactly like him. HAH

Hubby, Aunt Rose and I went to Granny's Attic craft show.

He has been wanting to go for years but we let the crowds

stop us.  But this year we decided to brave it !

Oh gosh it was packed. Wall to wall crafts and women HAH

I did some Christmas decorating  🎄🎅

I have been making photos for each Christmas with my

husband for 10 years.

This year I decided to hang them

Very happy with the outcome.

I watched The Grinch Movie from 2018 on demand.

I went to see it last year in the theater and the power

went out about 1/4 into it.  I was dying to know the end.

So finally I got to see the full movie~

Just loved it !

We spent Thanksgiving with Gary's cousins and

sister Linda

We went out to eat at Ben's a NY Jewish Deli.  🐔

My gosh they did the whole Thanksgiving spread !

Hubby has enough left over for two more thanksgivings. 

And of course I have been doing a whole lot of this !

It has been a blessed month. I have enjoyed

having every Friday off work and this whole

Thanksgiving week.  (1st time in my 39 years

of working I didn't work the holiday week)

Looking forward to December  ☃☃☃☃

we have a lot of fun things planned.

We have 3 shows planned

And I cannot wait ! ! !

Started off with a day trip to Lancaster

We had a great time . . shopping & eating

I don't even know why ~ I just love them. 

My friend and retired co-worker Cathy stopped

by for a visit.  She is in the pink shirt.

We all went to lunch.  She is retiring to SC from NJ.

We are going to miss her. 

Hubby and I enjoyed our annual

Octoberfest meal at the sitting duck. 🍂🎃🌻

We enjoyed a play in NYC off Broadway

It was not what we expected a little dark and sad but

we enjoyed it. 

Recognized Gordon Clapp in the audience. NYPD Blue.

That was exciting.

We had a nice lunch at Dallas BBQ we both love their

chicken soup.

Hubby is retired so he gets to take advantage of the free tickets

the NY based shows offer.  He got to see a few tapings of the

DR OZ show.  Ree was his guest and they gave the audience

her new cookbook.  

Super nice treat for the wife who was working hard.  HAH

Then I hit "60"  oh my gosh "60"  

I can hardly believe it

My co-workers gave me a nice cake and

a beautiful pink rose bush.

Hubby and I took a nice fall walk.

The trees are so pretty

Next we celebrated our 12 years of marriage  💒👰💍

We drove up to Sleep Hollow - fun place in October 🎃

FINDING JESUS IN THE TABERNACLE

Friday Night Session

Jesus is the GATE

John 10:9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved.

Tabernacle is to dwell = God dwelt with His people in the desert

In the desert you learn HE will provide - total dependence on our Father.

One gate to enter Tabernacle  and Jesus is the One Way.

John 14:6 I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no one comes to the

Father except through me.

Saturday AM Session 1

Once you step through the Gate into the Tabernacle

You see the ALTER of sacrifice

Jesus is the SACRIFICE

Sin laid on the head of the lamb

Hebrews 9:28 So Christ was sacrificed once to

take away the sins of many people.

Saturday AM Session 2

The Wash Basin/The Bronze Laver

Jesus has cleansed us from our sins

1 Corinthians 6:11 But you were washed, you were sanctified,

you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ by

the Spirit of our God. 

The wash basin had a mirrored bottom so the Priest

could see his reflection. 

At the retreat we had a very poignant opportunity.

We were able to come forward and lay our hands

on the alter of sacrifice (for us Jesus head) and than wash 

our hands in the basin.  Leaving it all behind on Jesus.

Remembering to look into the basin and see our 

reflection ~ washed clean. 

Place of Freedom

Judgement - getting what we deserve

Mercy - not getting what we deserve

Grace - Getting what we don't deserve  (favor)

The Golden Lampstand

Jesus is the light

John 8:12 I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will

never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.

We learned how a candle burns from the wick and 

will eventually burn completely out.

But an oil lamp burns from the oil and the wick never burns up.

We are to burn as an oil lamp from the oil of the holy spirit so

we never burn up.  Don't try TRUST.  Not over work but overflow.

John 15:5 Apart from me you can do nothing.

John 6:55 I am the bread of life. He who comes

to me will never go hungry, and he who believes 

in me will never be thirsty. 

Eat the WORD of God or starve your soul. 

Let it be the JOY & REJOICING of my heart. ❤

Jesus is our high Priest

Hebrews 7:25 Jesus is described as our high Priest and

he lives to intercede for us. He has our names on his 

shoulder and over his heart.

Jesus is the curtain  - Vail torn from top to bottom

Hebrews 10:19-23 Therefore brothers, since we have 

confidence to enter the Most Holy Place by the blood of Jesus
