Lancaster Christmas ~ 2014

 

Hubby and I were off to Lancaster PA for an overnight.

We started off our adventure with a
good breakfast at a new place for us:
MEEMOM'S - it was so good!

 

Then we headed to Lancaster, first stop Kitchen Kettle

 

"It's lovely weather for a sled ride together

with you ♫ ♫ ♫."

 

 

The Christmas decorations were so nice!

Then we headed to the outlets.

They were decorated so lovely also.

 I did so well at my favorite store ~ QVC outlet

 

God sure blessed ~  3 tops, 1 black jean, 1 brown jean,

temptations bread basket & temptations measuring cups.

All for $ 100.00   WOW 

 

 

I also picked up this sweet lighted photo.

Picture doesn't do it justice but the candles are all a glow

in the windows.  I love old churches.

 

It's called: "Sunday Go To Meetin'"

 

 

 Done shopping now off to a Christmas show at AMT.

This gal is amazing.  Sarah Timm

She sings like an angel and she is just beautiful.

She is so elegant. She could win Miss America.

 

 



 

After the show a great inexpensive & delicious dinner
at Cracker Barrel. 

Up early and breakfast at Bob Evans.  We love this place too.
Great food inexpensive ~ can't beat it.

On the way home hubby said let's stop at the other QVC outlet
in Malvern PA.  It was about 2 exits away from our Turnpike exit.
Even though I had shopped until I nearly dropped at the Lancaster
QVC outlet I was up for it.

I found this great Dooney & Bourke purse.
They have always been a dream purse.
But way too expensive for me.
But this one was 50% off plus Outlet prices.
I got it for a steal.  Isn't she pretty?  Blessed !

 

It was a wonderful weekend - great way to end a weeks

vacation from work.  

 

 

America's Keswick

Had two lovely events at America's Keswick

First the Annual Christmas Dinner Concert

I have been going to this event for years.

Headed down with friends: Michele, Wendy,
Pat and my Aunt Rose.

We had the most delicious pot roast.
My Aunt and I were hoping to trade our dessert
for more pot roast hah

The guest musician was Marty Goetz.

Marty was so awesome. He was so inspirational.
What a voice.  I love listening to Jewish believers.
I love hearing them speak in Hebrew. His voice
was mesmerizing.  I picked up one of his cds.

Every year they do the Christmas tree display.

The next day we went back down to
America's Keswick for LWL

Ladies Who Lunch

Once a month they hold these ladies lunches.
$10.00 for a wonderful hot lunch,
a great devotional speaker and lovely music.

Teri Van Scholek spoke on Jesus our Healer
And the women who touched Jesus garment hem.

It was two blessed events and blessed days.
Awesome way to spend my vacation time.

Radio City Rockette's

Hubby and I decided if we could get discount
tickets we would go see the Rockettes again this year.
We found a 2 for 1 offer so we headed off today.

The show was great !

Had a great ruben and hubby had his brisket.

It was a fun day !

Baking . . .

I've done some baking these past couple of day.

Made these gingerbread cookies.
I bought a cute gingerbread over mitt and it
came with some gingerbread cookie mix.

I made them or my ladies bible study.
They enjoyed them.

Today I baked some sugar cookies.
It was a windy, rainy day so bunkered home
and baked.
