Happy Birthday To ME !

 

Today is my 54th birthday.

 

I woke to two cards from my sweet hubby.

One funny and one romantic !

 

I had to work today but came home to

soooo many Facebook wishes from dear friends,

acquaintances, co-workers etc . . .

 

I also received phone calls & birthday cards from

so many dear friends.

 

 

 

Such a blessing to be thought of and remembered . . .

 

I have been facilitating a study from

Ann Voskamp.  

 

 

We really just started with lesson one but

already I am looking for those "gifts"

God showers us with each day.

 

This morning being my birthday I especially

had thankfulness on my mind.

 

I noticed the cool breeze hitting my

face as I got in my car.

The bright sunshine in my eyes driving to work.

Heading home the sunset was beautiful.

 

I truly am "rich"

 

I am 54 and have never spent 1 night in a hospital.

 

I have always had a warm bed, a roof over my

head and plenty of food.

 

I have always had a job.

 

I had a precious little Westie ~

Solomon who I loved with all my heart.

 

 

 

I have a loving family, dear friends~ many I

have had since I was 8 years old.

 

I have wonderful caring in-laws.

 

I have a WONDERFUL Godly Husband.

He has added such adventure and travel

to my life ~ we are always on the go.

 

 

 

 

One of my Facebook friends, John, likes

to write . . . Where in the World Is Maryellen hah

 

I have my Lord and Savior Jesus

 

 

I have the Holy Spirit to guide and direct

 

 

I have an amazing Father God in Heaven

 

 

 

I am praying this new year of 54 I never stop

counting my gifts . . .

 

That like Ann, I look for them each day and each

minute.
