Today was the annual Solutions
Health and Pregnancy Center's
WALK FOR LIFE.










This is the center in Red Bank NJ




The do such wonderful work.
I have been supporting them in their efforts for years.

They have the annual Walk

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Baby Bottle Boomerang and every year a lovely
banquet fundraiser. With terrific food and wonderful speakers.

 

 

The walk is held down at the Jersey Shore in Belmar.

We walk the boardwalk. Just a lovely view.

Perfect weather today. Cool and sunny !

This is my Aunt in green and friend Lorraine with her.
 

 

They served hot dogs, chili, chips and cookies.

So good!

Every year a co-worker of mine who is a Pastor's wife, Kathy

comes and does face painting, balloon animals and games

for the children. They have a blast.

 

This is Lorie and her husband.

I use to attend the same church as them.

In fact that is where I was saved and baptised.

Lorie is the director at Solutions and has

done a fantastic job all these years.

They recently got certified as a medical
clinic which is almost unheard of.
They have a doctor on staff who can
do sonograms. It helps the pregnant
Mom's make informed decisions.
And I believe has deterred some to
have abortions.

Well, she got me thinking and motivated.
So I gave it a try and found an easy recipe
on line.  I have never made it before and
as many of you know the kitchen is not
my best area. But I love to try.

 

It was pretty yummy.
My husband who is my biggest critic hah
He will never tell a lie.
He is "don't ask me if you don't want to hear the truth" guy hah
Well, after his first bite I heard, "Yum, this is pretty good"
