We had a dusting of snow and our boys are still completely
confused and obsessed with the shovel. HAH
They sit and stare for hours

Then Jan Michael Vincent. Oh my gosh
my girlfriend and I loved him.
So sad how his life completely spiraled
out of control. Heart break 💔
Hurray it was time for vacation ✈
Hubby and I went to Bluffton SC to check it out for
retirement. We both really love Georgia but want to
make sure. So we figured we would try SC.
They upgraded our rental car to a SUV. We laughed it is the
same car my Aunt has back in NJ. It was so nice.
Loved the white one.
Landed in Savannah and headed to St Simons, I know we are
supposed to be checking out Bluffton SC but we couldn't resist
going to our "church" in GA.
I was so excited I wanted this visitor mug so bad.
Hubby went and asked for one for me 😀💕
After church we headed to BELK ~ Oh we love this store.

We had a wonderful time and it confirmed to both of us that
we prefer GEORGIA
Did I forget to mention the pilot on our flight ✈ back to Newark
looked about 19 ? HAH I saw him show up and I assumed he
was a Steward. Then I saw a lady pilot show up. Once on the plane
I realized he wasn't the steward but a pilot. Then I convinced
myself it was okay as the lady pilot who was older was flying the
plane and he was co-pilot. But to my surprise he was the Captain!!!!!
YIKES he looked so young. After a ton of prayers and we landed
safely while waiting for my bags in the Jetway he literally goes past me,
I swear the young man was skipping. HAH
But that's okay as I was skipping to be on ground as well 😉
Back to NJ and back to reality
I made a promise to my cardiologist that I would try to exercise and lose
weight for my next visit in August.
So on 2/28 I got serious ! And I am determined when I turn 60 on
October 24th there will be a lot less of me
I dieted and exercised everyday did not miss a day. I made a chart and
decided I would not weigh myself but 1 day a month on the last day of the
month. I was SOOOOO good ! I was SOOOO proud. Even on Vacation
I was SOOOOOOOO good !
I purchased this from QVC and faithfully did the video
every other day and opposite days I rode 4 miles on by
exercise bike. Neither of these activities hurt my bad knees.
So imagine my disappointment, shock and unbelief when I
weighed in on 3/31 and lost 1 LB. YUP 1 LB.
I could not believe my eyes. My clothes feel looser, I feel
so much better. But 1 LB ????
Well, I had a choice. I could throw in the towel go back to
my bad eating and sedate life style or I could keep moving
forward trust the Lord to "move" the number on the scale
when He saw fit.
It was hard ! Thankfully I decided to continue on.
I am hanging on to this verse for all its worth !

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for,
the evidence of things not seen.
Praying that the Lord will turn my metabolism back on
after years of abuse.
Trusting that even if the scale numbers never change my
other numbers will change: Blood Pressure, Cholesterol,
Sugar etc . . .
We tried a new Greek Restaurant in Red Bank
Oh gosh we both loved it
Then this happened, although you would never know it
by our cold weather. March has been typical very windy
and the wind has been really cold.
And this precious BOY 💓 turned 4 ~ I can hardly believe it
He is the sweetest, rascal, loving, mushy, Mom's boy and we
love him to the moon ! 💓💓💓
Hubby found a recipe he thought I would enjoy.
So miracle of Spring I cooked hah
Turned out really good also !

He nearly froze to death but had a
good time HAH
