Today we went to NYC to the
Food Network event.
We had tickets for Emeril interview.
He was really great. Seems like such a
kind and down to earth hard working man.
Really enjoyed him.
He said something that really inspired me.
He said he went every week for 9 weeks to
ask this chef to hire him as an apprentice.
He would tell him we are not hiring
but he would not relent. Finally, one of the times
he said, Okay I'll give you a job!
Persistence pays off !
On Sunday we are going to the White Plains
Performing Arts Center to see The 39 Steps.
We saw it on Broadway years ago and were able
to get $9.00 tickets from our Ticket Club.
The weather has been just perfect in NJ.
It is the perfect time to go to Delicious Orchards.
We have been going here since I was a child.
They are an apple orchard that has grown into quite
the market and shop.
They make the most delicious donuts.
