Cape Cod Vacation

My husband and I love to travel. It was hard to select a favorite place. Since we've been together we've traveled to Alaska, Kansas, Colorado, Vermont, Branson, MO, Georgia, Maryland, Delaware, South Carolina, North Carolina, Upstate NY, Seattle WA, San Antonio TX, Washington DC & Maine . . . and we've only been married 4 years LOL     Yes we love to travel . . .

Last summer we visited Cape Cod and it was a blast.

We took the ferry over to Martha's Vineyard.  Love the little shops and the neat towns.
We visited the JFK Museum.  Amazing photos and even a tribute to JFK Jr.  A very touching statue of a older JFK with JFK Jr. walking along together.  Had he not be assassinated.  What might have been . . .
Wonderful breakfast restaurant.  They sure had great pancakes at the Pancake Man LOL
They had the neatest little cars.  Reminded me of my old VW Beetle.
Cape Cod is a great place to visit.  Summer or fall.  Especially if you like boating and summer sports.
In the fall the trees are just spectacular.

Royal Wedding - William & Kate

Loved the Royal Wedding. Such fun. Romance. Just like a Disney fairy tale!  Such a sweet couple.
William is just like his dear Mom. Kate is lovely.
The only thing that saddened me was the absence of Diana.
I loved her.
She was just a dear caring beautiful lady.

Breaks my heart. I feel like her "fairy tale" was a nightmare.  To be honest I can not bring myself to forgive Prince Charles. I just don't believe he ever loved her.  His heart always belonged to Camilla. I feel he only married Diana because he wasn't allowed to marry Camilla. He used Diana for children.  Just seems so unfair that she lost her life and he is able to carry on and marry his true love. I'll never forget her interview when she said so sadly that there were always 3 people in her marriage. She was young, innocent and trusting.
Breaks my heart.  Diane you will always be my Princess . . .

Organization 101

View Image

I'm joining Kelly's Korner SUYL on Organization.  I love to organize.
It's just my "thing".  I find if you can get it together it is much easier to maintain.  I try to keep everything in it's place.  Then you don't waste time searching. For example I keep my cd's in alphabetical order, hence when I want one, no searching. I simply locate it.  It takes a few minutes longer to put it back but once they are initally organized it's a breeze.

I am a huge nick nack person so organized clutter works for me.
I also make lists. It gives you a feeling of accomplishment and a track to go on. You don't waste time roaming around starting this and that but not completing anything.  Don't stress if you don't complete your list - just move the task forward to tomorrow.

I try to complete one task before moving on to the next.  If you don't you may waste time going back and forth.  Starting the same task over and over will not help you accomplish anything.

I also keep a Daytimer - this helps a great deal.

The more organize the more time saved the more FUN time for you and your family !

Happy Organizing  -  Blessings

Happy Palm Sunday . . .

The next day, the news that Jesus was on the way to Jerusalem swept through the city. A large crowd of Passover visitors took palm branches and went down the road to meet him. They shouted, "Hosanna"

Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Hail to the King of Israel!" Jesus found a young donkey and rode on it, fulfilling the prophecy.

Celebrate Life

I attended the 2011 Annual Fundraising Banquet for our local Pregnancy Center. These ladies do such wonderful work !  62 babies were saved from abortion in 2010 !

We had a wonderful speaker a Pastor from Philadelphia Rev Dr Herbert Lusk  Powerful !
He was a former NFL player for the Eagles until the Lord called him to preach.

A young Christian girl gave her testimony of becoming pregnant and secretly going to take the abortion pill. Not realzing it wasn't just one pill but several over a period of days. After a sleepness night after taking the first pill crying for her child she turned to her Mom and they headed to Solutions. Normally the child would have died from the first pill but after the ultra-sound there was still a heart beat.  9 months later she gave birth to a precious baby boy - a real MIRACLE!  He was at the banquet so cute, bright red hair. We know the Lord has big plans for this precious one.

I'll end today's blog with these powerful words from this song written and sung at the banquet.

Cast Away

You still can't forget about me
as you count how old I would be
and yet after all these years thoughts of me
still bring you tears.

I wish you would have known then
that the Grace of God would see you through.

Cast away, cast away there was no way for me to say,
Please don't just cast my life away.

I missed the soft touch of your hand
and building castles in the sand
and to see spring in full bloom.

But life was taken all too soon for me
to see the stars above
or to know the feelings of true love.

It's too late for me now, I know,
but there's still time left for you
to show that you've made a mistake
and that life's not ours to take.

Speak for me I pray and tell them
before it's too late.
